About the Artist:

Over the past 40 years, LA-based artist Juan Fernando Bastos has completed hundreds of portrait commissions across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. His works are held in private homes, embassies, and universities worldwide, and it has been widely exhibited.

Bastos’ art is featured in prestigious public collections, including Harvard University, The University of Southern California, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Marlborough School, Archer School for Girls. George Washington University and The Vatican Embassy in Washington, D.C.  Notable private commissions include portraits of prominent collectors such as Philip Niarchos, Eugenio Lopez and Eugenio Lopez. 

His works have been widely reviewed by the press. Bastos is often invited to give lectures and demonstration at universities, colleges, art institutions, fraternal organizations, and social clubs.
