It took three years for St. Faustina to get someone to paint the image of Jesus as the Divine Mercy. And almost 70 years for the Sunday after Easter to be dedicated to the Divine Mercy as Jesus asked.
Now the image is one of the most popular devotions in the world! A great reminder that the work God starts with us may not finish with us- and that his time is not our time.
